The Puffer Rookie Skate
Date: Sept. 4, 2019
Time: 9:30-10:30 p.m.
Location: J.D. McArthur Arena, Bayshore Community Centre.
Cost: $15.00 per skater
It is strongly recommended that all league rookies please attend this skate so that the draft committee can evaluate each player so they can be confidently placed onto the correct team in an effort to keep the teams as even and as competitive as possible.

Hello Puffer Nation,We have changed thing up a bit this year for registration.
Not only have we had the earlier than usual signup, we are also offering a payment plan over the summer for your fees for the 2019-2020 season.
Payments of $125.00 are due on July 1, August 1 and September 1.
This should help take the sting out of coming up with $375. at the end of September.
Payments can be made by cheque, cash or e-transfer.

Hello Puffer nation.
I’ve arranged another bus trip to play hockey at Maple Leaf Gardens (the original one).
Game day is May 11, 2019.
Mini coach bus transportation leaves the legion parking lot at 7:00am. 2 hours of icetime.
I’m arranging a brewery tour following the game.
Back home by 7:30 or 8:00. Refreshments provided.
$100. per player based on 20 players.
Payment must be received to secure seat on bus.
Goalie positions have already been filled.

Super Saturday Game Times & Event Update

Both games at Julie McArthur Rec Centre.
After the Games - Legion is booked.
Like last year we have the Battle of Britain room at the Owen Sound Legion booked for festivities after Super Saturday.
It’s booked from 5:30-11:00.
I know some teams are talking about going out with their beer funds for drinks and pizza after the games.
Please consider this as an alternative.
We would ask each team to contribute $25 from their beer fund to pay for the hall like we did last year.
The TV will have something interesting on it then we can watch Hockey Night in Canada.
All are welcome. Including our vast fan base and spouses.
