The Puffers that played in the old Coliseum will remember Greg. On Wednesday nights in the winter he would be the first guy to greet you on the way in and would always have a good story on the way out as well! 

BROOKING, Greg - Suddenly at the Grey Bruce Health Services in Owen Sound, with his family by his side, on Monday, October 6th, 2014. 

John Gregory Brooking, of Annan, at the age of 66 years. Dearly loved husband of Patricia “Pat” Brooking (nee Turney). Loving father of Matthew Brooking and his partner, Shannon Tessier, of Woodstock, Jeremy Brooking, of South Bruce Peninsula and Paul Brooking and his partner, Chelsea Karges, of Annan. 

Greg will be sadly missed by his brothers-in-law, Glen “Archie” Crossey, of Bowmanville, Rob Turney and his partner, Sheila Bartley, of Leith and his nephews and nieces, Jarrett (Lisa), Mark (Lissa), Tim (Heather), Brentt (Janice) and Michele. 

Predeceased by his parents, Howard and Dorothy Brooking; his sister, Linda Crossey; his in-laws, David “Kelly” and Mary Turney. Friends may call at the BRIAN E. WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 250 – 14th Street West, Owen Sound, Ontario N4K 3X8 (519-376-7492) on Friday evening from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service for Greg will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel, on Saturday afternoon, October 11th, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. with Archie Crossey officiating.
