Pierre Wade Oct 22, 1950 - Apr 12, 2013
On April 12, 2013 in Owen Sound, Ontario.
Born Oct 22, 1950
Pierre’s kind, gentle spirit reflected a beautiful balance in life, for he was known in many ways: as a lawyer, musician, golfer, but most importantly, he was a wonderful husband, father, brother and friend.
He will be remembered with immense love by his wife, Vivian, his sons, Alex and Evan, Alex’s partner, Jessica, his brother, Bill, his extended family and his many close friends.
Pierre succumbed to brain cancer after a mercifully short struggle, during which he maintained his usual positive attitude and sense of humour .
Pierre’s wardrobe was indicative of his passion for life: from his well worn golf shirts to his formal courtroom gown, but perhaps most memorable, the red hot cocktail dress he wore for Cabaret. Life with him was never dull.
All flowers gratefully declined. Instead, so that others may benefit from the cancer treatment extension plans at the hospital in Owen Sound, and hopefully receive their treatments locally, please make a donation specifying “Cancer Care” to the foundation office of the Grey Bruce Health Services. Donations may be made through the Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, 250 -14th St. West, Owen Sound, Ontario, N4K 3X8, (519) 376- 7492.
A celebration of Pierre’s life will be held for relatives and friends at a later date.
He mixed reason with pleasure and wisdom with mirth (Oliver Goldsmith)

All players will need to be from the Puffer League or will have to pay for CARHA registration to be insured.
We will try to keep the numbers so that everyone gets a good amount of ice time as well as trying to keep the cost around $80-100.00 for the 8 skates. We will have a spares list in case too many guys reply.
